New Round of Ukraine-US-Russia Talks in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, February 17 (NA) — A new round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia lasted for over four hours on Tuesday and will continue on Wednesday. The two-day closed-door negotiations are expected to address territorial issues, military and political and economic concerns, as well as security arrangements, the official news agency TASS reported. The Kremlin confirmed on Monday that the Russian delegation includes presidential adviser Vladimir Medinsky; Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin; and other officials, as learned by the Argentine News Agency. The United States is represented by presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of the US president. The Ukrainian delegation is headed by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov.
